Service / diagnosis / repairs
Know the job. Know the next step.
A straightforward workshop conversation about the car, the concern and the work being proposed.

Workshop support
Start with the concern.
The workshop conversation begins with the car and its recent history.
Routine service
Discuss the appropriate service scope for the vehicle and its use.
A change in performance
Describe the symptoms and arrange an assessment.
Repair planning
Understand the proposed work, parts and timing before deciding.
How a repair works
- 1
Call or drop in
Book a time, or bring it by in the morning and leave the key.
- 2
We find the fault
We test it, then call you with what is wrong and the price to fix it.
- 3
You say yes
Nothing is touched until you approve it. Want to think? That's fine.
- 4
Pick it up
We walk you through the work and show you the parts we took off.
Understanding the job
No need to know the technical name.
A sound, a warning light or a change in how the car feels is enough to begin the conversation. Tell us when it happens and what has changed. We explain the next step and discuss proposed work before proceeding.
Before you bring it in
- Can I wait while you work?
- Yes, for oil changes, alignments and most inspections. For longer repairs, drop it off in the morning and we call when it is ready.
- Will you call before doing extra work?
- Every time. Nothing goes on the bill unless you have said yes on the phone.
- Can I bring my own parts?
- On most jobs, yes. We can only stand behind our labour on those, not the part itself.
- Do you work on hybrids?
- For brakes, tires, maintenance and general repairs, yes. Hybrid battery work we send to a specialist and tell you who.
