How we work
We would rather run five minutes late than rush your cuticles.
Pumice is a small studio with four manicure tables and two pedicure chairs. We book every appointment with time to spare, so your gel cures properly and nobody hurries you out the door.
Files and buffers are single-use, metal tools go through a sterilizer after every client, and the windows are open whenever the weather lets us.
Before you book
How long does gel last?
Usually two to three weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow and how hard you are on your hands.
Can I come in with gel from another salon?
Yes. Add a gel removal when you book so we have time to take it off gently.
Do you take walk-ins?
When a table is free, yes. Calling ahead is the surest way to get a spot, especially on Saturdays.
Should I shave before a pedicure?
Please wait 24 hours after shaving your legs. Freshly shaved skin is more likely to get irritated.
