Setting out the scope

Put the scope in writing.

Roofing work involves more than the main surface. We discuss the edges, connections and access requirements alongside the larger plan, so the proposed work is clear. Materials and timing are considered in relation to the building and the project.

Roof projects

Plan the work as a whole.

A clear brief helps connect the large decisions to the finishing details.

Project assessment

Review the building, the concern and the practical constraints.

Material choices

Discuss options in the context of the proposed work.

Finishing details

Consider junctions, edges and the parts that need coordination.

From first call to final cleanup

  1. 1

    We inspect

We go up, check every slope and the attic, and take photos you can keep.

  2. 2

    You get it in writing

Within two working days: the price, the materials and a start date. No pressure to sign on the spot.

  3. 3

    We do the work

Tarps over your plants, old roof off, new roof on, and the driveway clear by the end of each day.

  4. 4

    Cleanup and walk-through

A magnetic sweep of the lawn and beds for nails, then we walk the job with you before we invoice.

Questions homeowners ask

Do I need a new roof, or can you repair it?
Most roofs we look at need a repair, not a replacement. We show you the photos and tell you which yours is.
Will you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We meet the adjuster on the roof and share our photos and measurements. The claim itself stays between you and your insurer.
How long does a replacement take?
One to two days for most houses, longer for steep or complicated roofs. If weather moves your start date, we call you.
What about all the nails?
We run a magnetic sweeper over the lawn, beds and driveway at the end of every day, not just the last one.
