The studio
If it will not grow out well, we will tell you before we pick up a brush.
Lark is six chairs, one long window and a team that would rather do one thing well than rush three. We book enough time for every appointment, so nobody is left waiting under a dryer while their stylist runs between clients.
We use low-ammonia color, recommend only the products your hair needs, and will tell you honestly when the look you want will take two visits to get right.
Good to know
- Do I need a consultation before color?
- For balayage or a big change, yes. It is free, takes 15 minutes, and we do a strand test if your hair has been colored before.
- How long does balayage take?
- Plan on three to four hours, including toner and a blow-dry. Bring a book, and tell us if you need a break.
- Do you cut curly hair?
- Yes. Come in with your hair dry and styled as usual so we can see your curl pattern before we cut.
- What if I need to cancel?
- Please give us 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged half the service price.
