New to lifting? Good.
- 1
Free intro
Thirty minutes one-to-one with a coach. We talk goals, check how you move and show you around.
- 2
Barbell Basics
Four weeks of small-group coaching on the squat, bench, deadlift and press, at your pace.
- 3
Train for real
Join classes or open gym with a program built around what you want to lift.
The training floor
A useful plan beats a complicated one.
Training works best when you understand what you are doing and why. We start with a conversation about your experience and schedule, then introduce movements and a manageable routine. Progress is discussed in context, without a promise of a particular result.
Before you come in
- Do I need to be fit already?
- No. Most members started in Barbell Basics, lifting an empty bar on day one.
- Is there a contract?
- No. Memberships run month to month. Cancel any time before your next billing date.
- Can I just train on my own?
- Yes. Open gym covers any staffed hour, and a coach is always on the floor if you want a spot or a second look.
- What should I wear?
- Flat shoes, clothes you can squat in and a water bottle. We have chalk and spare belts.
